Glendalough Video August 2015
This video documents one of the beautiful Glendalough walks which goes up past the Poulanass waterfall, on up the steps to the viewing point at the Spinc, then along the ridge and down into the valley and back by the Miners village. It was a beautiful day as you can see.
On a technical issue the intro is a video of some generative art(art developed from coding using the Processing language). I took a video of it and then brought it into Adobe After Effects to put an animation preset on the text.
The video in it’s entirety is approximately 10 minutes in duration. It was taken using the video facility on my Canon EOS 600D DSLR camera. The clips are all handheld (no tripod).
The scenery is spectacular – well worth the effort of the walk 🙂 There are always people of all ages on the walk. Lots of tourists – you’ll hear many different languages as you go.
The railway sleepers make it easier to walk whilst protecting the environment also. I think the unsaid rule is to yield right of way to those who are ascending.
I hope you enjoy 🙂
